Portion size was pathetic. Seven pieces of shrimp and a sad little mound of mashed potatoes for We drove an hour for prime rib and were told they sold out before we got there at on Saturday night. Won’t be back

I have been coming to Tidewater Grill for over years, and have always found the food and service to be superb. This visit was no exception in this regard, however, it started out with an issue I want to bring up. My wife has extreme asthma and can not wear a face covering over her nose andor mouth. My party of was to be denied entry unless she would wear such a face covering. She finally used her rescue inhaler and hurried to the table where the mask was immediately removed and after a few minutes her breathing returned to normal. We were told that the face covering was required by the Governor’s mandate, and by restaurant policy. This is in error. Please bring your restaurant policy in line with the Governor’s mandate, which follows CDC recommendations that include an exemption for anyone who has trouble breathing, and a few other conditions. We will not dine here again under the conditions we were met with on this visit

Tidewater Grill is our favorite restaurant excellent menu with a variety of offerings from salads to sandwiches to delicious entrees........ the service is outstanding we really enjoy the patio seating
