I would recommend this jewel of a restaurant. if they only cross the border and open one in montreal!
Had a great time with great food and service in tarantini on holy evening happy christmas all we eat always in an Italian restaurant for holy evening. this restaurant was a bit further from home than the usual places we look into, but we liked the menu and reviews. we are former long islanders (ny) and are pampered with the amount of local restaurants that were available in our NY area. we made the 25 mile trek to tarantini and would drive twice if needed. the service was great when we came in. they were busy, but we were recognized, kept up-to-date and sitting a short time later. our waiter immediately took our drink order and was back with them in no time. he told us about the specials and gave us time to watch over the menu. as a family of 4 we had a starter, escape and dessert. 4 different escapes: auberginenparm, chickenrollatini, garnelen scampi and gnocchi carbonara. the brot was hot and fresh, the salad and suppe tasteful and all the entreen were a good portion, hot and absolutely delicious. although we all have our own favorites, we all take a taste of each and not a complaining, we ended up with dessert (many / mostly homemade before place) and were not disappointed the least. this was the perfect family and holiday dinner with a large service and a superior atmosphere at a reasonable price. we are looking forward to our next visit
This restaurant was phenomenal. the pasta had a delicious taste that felt balanced and light on the magen. with the bun that preserved a wonderful amount of moisturity, radiated the pasta. increases the taste of the bun as a result. the chicken had also light spices on it so that the pasta to wear the taste where it is needed. the server were great from the beginning. first they imagined and gave us a list of meals we like. while we also give options to choose from. we had no cry this time. but when some of my family members asked about the limonade, he made them quick for us, although it seemed like it wasn't on the menu. So, instead of saying that they didn't do that, he managed to provide us with what we needed. a wonderful experience. both server, dane and luke, were very friendly, helpful and present. and with us spoke occasionally about our meal in a pleasant and inconspicuous way. he was funny about the way and wise how he would answer and when we were all finished with our meal, held a nice conversation with us. He was even nice enough to make a picture for us. my whole family had nothing but good things to say about the server and the chef. the atmosphere was also very elegant. there is a glass door that allows air inside while also the ac running inside to keep a beautiful balance of cooler air and an open feeling. it would have been a great look for a sunset collection. the decor was also great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
Eating on Mother's Day is sometimes chaotic. but that was perfect. we came to us, there were a few parties. (definitely reservations required.) we got 2 seats that we went with the quieter table. our waitress was great; attentively friendly. our mixed drinks were quite perfect. the food was delicious and again generously portioned. we didn't feel rushed and we had a wonderful stress-free dinner.
My husband and I went here for our anniversary on a Friday night. We've never been here before. It's a little out of the way and it was worth the trip. The atmosphere was very beautiful and gave a very modern feeling. The portions were perfect. We had Calamari, who was chewed and roasted with a slightly spicy tomato sauce that clung to the Calamari. It was fabulous. Our networks were impeccable. I had the Kalbsparmigiana and that was also skillfully baked and melted in your mouth tenderly. My husband had the calf salt imbocca, which was also made professional. Our glasses were never empty. The servers were over and over excellent. It was very busy this night and they also seemed to be brief and we didn't have to wait too long for our food. We had to wait to get our bill. Otherwise, this was an incredible restaurant that we will definitely recommend to all our friends!
