Bin 54 Steak Cellar - Chapel Hill

This restaurant is known for its exquisite steaks and has won numerous five-star awards. Located in Triangle West, it is considered one of the best upscale dining options in the area. Despite the high prices (around $100 per person), and the expectation of tipping the staff at least 20% or more, the experience is worth every penny. Make sure to make reservations ahead of time, as they are likely fully booked for Valentine's Day.

The bacon, Caesar salad, and steak at this restaurant were delicious. However, the pork chop was undercooked and when I brought it to the waiter's attention, they argued with me that it was done properly.

The restaurant was very accommodating when we showed up last minute after another place cancelled our reservation. The service was excellent!

Been here many times and the place never disappoints. A sommelier on site and very knowledgeable.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary and I really wanted it to be special for my wife and I. I mentioned it to our server and after seeing the table next to us also celebrating something and have the manager wish them well and bring a nice dessert, we had hoped the same. However, there was nothing else said to us or well wishes for our anniversary. Our food was also extremely late coming out (over an hour after we ordered it). My wife’s steak was cold and they had to bring it back to the grill to warm it up. Overall, we felt the food was overpriced for what you get, and it seems the kitchen had some kinks to work out. I’m not sure if our server was new, but they seemed flustered and didn’t mention our celebration for being there. Overall disappointing considering how much money we spent.
