They have by far the best bubble tea on Franklin Street. I go to Asian cafe once or twice a week and sometimes it's just for the bubble tea. The staff are also great.
So, here is the thing, the food is very mediocre. But you are on Franklin street, and if you get the lunch special, you are getting one of the best deals on that entire stretch of prime real-estate. Also, get the jalapeno chicken. They only serve it at lunch and it disappears super quick. Easily best thing on the menu.
Eating here can be a hit or miss at times. My experiences have been generally good but a few times they forgot a part of my order (I later found out after walking all the way back to my dorm room) or on one day they used spaghetti for their lo mein then switched back on a subsequent visit. I've worked at a Chinese restaurant myself while out of school so I have a bit of experience on the business. Not the best Chinese takeout I've ever had, but it hits the spot when I have a hankering for something sweet and spicy. The prices are good, but the restaurant itself could be cleaner. If you want some cheap quick Chinese food for a good price, this is your place.
Decently good and authentic food considering the price. Generous portions, especially for lunch. Staff may seem kind of stingy and blunt at times but just face the door and you'll be fine. Walk-in ordering for eating there or take out is relatively fast, but delivery is hit or miss at times.
