Amante Pizza Pasta - Chapel Hill

Ethan is fantastic! He's the perfect person to have at the front. I had a late night recently and, unfortunately, arrived close to closing time. The staff was very understanding, and my pizza was ready in just 10 minutes. It was amazing! I will definitely be back, though hopefully not right before closing again, haha. By the way, the pizza was really good—I had the meat lover's, which was a great classic thin crust.

The calzone was absolutely perfect—cooked just right and filled with the perfect amount of ingredients. So many places get it wrong, but not here. The service was wonderful, and the bathroom was spotless.

The pizza here is excellent—I'd say it's the second best in town. What I really appreciate is that it's much more affordable than the pricier option, which is why I prefer Amante. If you want to avoid a wait of over 60 minutes, definitely visit this location by the highway.

I ordered the old Mexican pizza, mango habanero wings with two blue cheese dressings, two bottles of water, and a Diet Coke. When the order arrived, I was let down. There was no sour cream with the lukewarm pizza, the wings were quite oily (though they were the best part of the meal), the dressing was thin and unpleasant, and my Diet Coke turned out to be regular Coke. I received a refund for the sauce and soda, but overall, I would not recommend this restaurant and won't be ordering from them again.

Love the pizza at amante! the jerk chicken pizza is my favorite! I live in raleigh, but drive to chapel hill to get it!
