La Palapa De Don Juan - Chapala

This place is a fish restaurant, but it also has the usual hamburger and hot dogs for the children. the ambiente is good, the service is friendly and the staff is attentive. we had a good time here

What I like about this place is everything: the chili-rellenos, the Mariachi music, the margaritas, the view of the chapalasee, the pelikane, the friendly service and the entire atmosphere. that surprised me when I first came in because it was huge. it looks like a big group of tours is coming. I was 5 times and never saw a tour group. Oh, and another thing I like, watching big family parties. it is very sweet to see families together and laugh and have fun.

Visited with friends to the breakfast. great view of the chapalasee from the second floor. very good breakfast and friendly attentive service. will return to breakfast or lunch. I hope they extend their hours for dinner.

For a family friendly brunch this is the best in Chapala. Toss breadcrumbs to the shore birds while you wait for a superb meal. Great service, friendly staff. LOVE the shrimp chipotle crepes. Spicy, but offset by the improbable sautéed onions and strawberries. A real...winner. Many thumbs up!

Six of us went to Don Juan's for breakfast and enjoyed the view over the lake as we ate our eggs benedict and drank many cups of coffee. The food was very good, the service quiet but attentive and it was a very relaxing morning.
