First Watch - Chantilly

The food at First Watch is consistently excellent, which is why I keep ordering from them, despite the recurring issue of missing items in my orders. It happens so often that it feels almost intentional, as if they would prefer customers to dine in rather than opt for takeout. I would love to eat there in person, but unfortunately, I'm severely immunocompromised and still need to be cautious during the pandemic. I was really looking forward to trying their new Cinnamon Spice Churros, which I ordered, but of course, they were missing. On a positive note, I surprisingly received the bread with my Sweet Honey Pecan Salad this time, which is a rarity since it is frequently left out.

I’d like to give this restaurant a 2-star review, although the waffle was decent. Unfortunately, the eggs were dry and seemed to have been hastily prepared. One of the "sides" appeared to have been sitting on the griddle or pan for too long, which is disappointing. Not impressed.

The main dish was good. However, there were a few downsides: the fruit bowl didn't include all the fruits shown in the picture. Instead, we received mostly honeydew melon and grapes. Additionally, the muffin, which cost $3, was very small. I was disappointed because I remember them being larger in the past. Overall, it didn't feel like good value for the money.

The Pesto Chicken Quinoa Bowl is my go-to breakfast. Its fantastic every time.

I got the lone Star breakfast hash this morning and it came with two of the tiniest pieces of meat on the planet. also, it didnt come with any of the tortilla that said it was going to come with. the meal overall is very salty and just not a good quality for 20 bucks. such a shame
