To Mikio Taverna - Chania

Great little place with just a few tables. We ordered seafood cellars for two €34) and some house wine. The amount of food was enormous and the food itself was delicious. At the end we only paid €33, because the mainly got fish and they run out of most seafood. Totally recommended!

Amazingly find in the back streets of Chania. Georgia welcomed me, although she was full, and I was alone. She found an extra table and set up for me. I had the chicken in white wine sauce, with potatoes. Delicious. Georgia just accused me of a drink, even though I had a red wine, a white wine and a Greek coffee! Great food and service. χαριστώ πολύ Γεωργία!

My favourite thing in the menu is the tomato soup. Really enjoyed it and would love to come again. Chatted with the cook, she looks like a really nice lady.

Nice place hidden in one of the streets in chania old town, away from the rivers of people.... The owner recommended 3-4 dishes and we loved them all! The place is called differently though, Argo taberna.

There was the seafood cellar I saw in a YouTube video, and I didn't go wrong. Many local fresh fish, grilled with fried local shrimps, salads and chips. I ordered the small plate and it seemed much bigger than I expected. I had to take a part of it because I wasn't finished, and everything was so delicious, I couldn't escape to leave the presumption behind. Friendly and polite staff. Great place!
