Throumbi - Chania

On Saturday in March, quite early, and were surprised that they were almost completely booked. We have one of the few available tables. The food was delicious (we had Cretan Salad, lamb and land potatoes), local red wine (at the right temperature) and the service great. Place was full of locals, always a good sign. Very reasonable prices too.

In May some buildings stayed back and we found Throumbi when we look for somewhere to eat a bite in front of the bed. It looked nice and seemed to have good reviews. The staff was very friendly and the food was as good as the reviews said. It made a really good start on our vacation

Everything we cost was just delicious. Be careful that portions are so large :

So much tasty food! We ordered an appetizer and a grilled meat mix, and we had to pack leftovers for the day after! So good! Delightful service!

Out of all restaurants we have been in Chania this was our favourite. Good house vine. Auburegine saganaki is the best we had.
