A wonderful, family-run restaurant, just 4-5 minutes' walk from the hectic of the old town. It is easy to reach and offers 7-8 tables especially for 4 people who were all empty when we visited for lunch. A young man is the waiter, his mother cooks and the atmosphere is very warm and friendly. The menu is there, but in any case ask After meals of the day, the boy will be happy to tell you about them. We tried three of the meals he told us about, all were simple and simple, but delicious and wonderful. With a glass of beer and some water the bill came at 46€. It made a great impression that four small creams and a few Raki were completely released to dessert! I definitely recommend it!

Excellent experience! We wanted to eat something stuffed and we stumbled in this place. What's a treat! We ordered the tasty lamb in vine sauce and the tasty pig in yogurt and garlic. Our server was also very nice. I'm not sure he was the owner because he checked for us several times during our meal. He was a joy! We didn't even have a reservation and they were fully booked, but didn't send us away. We were lucky!

Absolutely beautiful food in a family run taverna. We 'd travelled all over Crete, and this was our last meal and without doubt, the very best. If you like traditional Cretan food, please do make the effort to come here. You can tell that everything is freshly cooked by mum. The lamb and pasta was particularly gorgeous. Service was lovely, prompt but not rushed, lots of info given about the dishes, and I especially loved the Cretan 'kritika ' music! Lovely atmosphere. We will be back :
