The food here is really good. The portions are generous and the flavours are intense. The prices are on the higher side but given the quality of the food I would consider it to be good value. The staff were friendly and efficient without being intrusive. Overall I would highly recommend.
Fantastic little restaurant. Superb food and generous portions. Lovely staff, this place is a really good find. Don't be put off by the exterior and I would strongly recommend booking as they only have a few tables.
Me and my wife go to Special Thai every single year for Valentines day and can honestly say its some of the best Thai food we've ever had (and our Honeymoon was in Thailand! . The Tamarind duck, TomKa Gai and Jungle Curry are all clear favourites, but there's not a dish that isn't glorious! They also have wine from Thailand and fantastic Jasmine tea.
The best Thai restaurant in Hampshire! It’s a bit hidden and easy to overlook, which is unfortunate. My wife and I have been dining here for seven years, and we’ve recommended it to friends who are now fans as well! Having spent a lot of time in Thailand, I can confidently say that the food here is incredible—definitely try the tamarind dish!
