We were excited to see that they feature spirits from the locally owned Arizona Distilling Co.—Mission Vodka is one of my favorites! I would love to see some local Arizona wines on the menu as well. We were intrigued by the palate menu; everything sounded amazing. The four of us started with an order of Bacon-Wrapped Dates and quickly ordered another because they were perfectly crispy and juicy. We also tried the roasted Brussels sprouts appetizer, a warm chicken salad loaded with beets, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, and topped with a poached egg, and the Elch Burger served with fried potatoes and greens. Our friend had a beautiful piece of salmon, dusted with pistachios, served over Brussels sprouts and potatoes. We will definitely be back! I encourage people to give it a try—the food is truly amazing. It could also be a fun spot with live music and happy hour specials!
The restaurant boasts a stunning interior along with a lovely outdoor terrace. The staff is very friendly, and the food is absolutely incredible! My personal favorites are the salmon and burgers. Plus, everything is completely gluten-free, which is a huge relief—it's great to dine out without the worry of cross-contamination.
I was hit at the door by a nice young lady who gave me the opportunity to sit where I wanted. I had a glass of the house red wine. It was an average pouring and the wine itself was on average, maybe a little better than other house wines. I had wrapped the bacon, cashew butter filled dates that were wonderful! The plate was split with a caramel sauce and a basil type reduction, although I could have done without the caramel because the bacon had enough sweetness on it. Then I had the smoked salmon beedict and replaced the crispy brussel sprouts for an extra $2. The sprouts were initially not attractive because they were sweeter than I expected, but when I read the menu I saw that they had an apple wine reduction, the taste made more sense and it was better. Nevertheless, I prefer my veggies rather savory than sweet. The smoked salmon was wonderful and they did not jump on the goat cheese. The Arugula was slightly dressed and the meal was quite delicious overall. I would recommend trying this restaurant for a healthy alternative to the norm.
I was incredibly impressed. I had the CHICKEN COCONUT WRAP the person with me had the BUNLESS SMOKEY WILD BURGER. Both meals were excellent! So delicious, well seasoned, cooked for perfection. Our greeting (the owner) warmly welcomed us, then asked us about all food restrictions before you decide which menu to give us (they have vegan, vegetarian, Paleo, AIP menus available for those with questions / concerns. She made sure that all spices that could give me a problem, but there were alternatives that made the process seamless. Our server was solicitous, friendly, attentive. We're coming back!
Awesome place! my wife eats AIP for her Rheumatoid arthritis and finding a place that even knows what this means is a challenge, let alone somewhere that can make it taste decent. We went here for a brunch yesterday and the food was delicious!!! She had the salmon and I had the prosciutto eggs benedict (grain free). ultimately if you have someone with food restrictions, this is an easy place to go where they 'get ' it, and make great food at the same time. and if you 're just looking for a nice place to eat, you 'll get that too!!
