Citco Food Point - Chandigarh

Every gedhi route has an adda or a halt too, and citco food point is the best halt that one can have!<br/ <br/ Situated right opposite the Art Gallery, or should I say close to the Chandigarh's Eiffel Tower (made up), this cafe gives a back-to-college feeling like every other Citco cafe! <br/ <br/ The cafe is located in a valley like garden which is adorned with creative projects of Arts students all around! They have shedded seating and also swings at about two points, however cleanliness is the last thing on their mind it seems!<br/ <br/ The place is like a heaven during winters, where you can enjoy quick snacks with coffee and sit in the sun, or just keep walking outside in the parking lot which is like an arena for the bikes and cars to show their drifting skills!<br/ <br/ Amid the peace of gardens, this place serves as an amazing getaway and low cost dating zone! Only the cleanliness part needs to be worked upon!

I've been coming to this place for years now. Right in front of the Arts Museum in Leisure Valley with a Pakistan Tank from the 1971 Indo-Pak War in the Parking lot. It is ideally located.The Food is always fresh and it's like a students canteen with benches and tables all around. There's even a swing in the seating. I love the Maggi, Veg and Cheese Patties, Kadhi/Rajma/Chana Chawal, Grilled Sandwiches and Cold Coffee.For the ones who frequent the CLTA -DAV canteen, the food is the same at both these outlets and I love the Nescafe Ketchup served here.Highly economical Food in Pleasant surroundings!

Such a gem in Chandigarh! We went for lunch at a friend’s suggestion found the place packed. It’s a small space our friend had warned us we may not get a table she was right. Just as we were ready to walk out out, one became available. Lucky us. The menu has something for everyone. Omelettes, Pizza, pasta, sandwiches Indian western fast food. Four of us ordered waited patiently for the food. Must say, we weren’t disappointed. Fresh, delicious lamb burger, chicken Caesar burger, hummus falafel burger Philly chicken cheese steak sandwich with coleslaw French fries were gobbled up with great satisfaction! We thought we’d ordered too much but not a French fry was left on our plates. Kudos to the team behind this very popular cafe. FYI as we were leaving, we saw some folks had ordered pizzas that looked absolutely delicious. Next time that’s what I’m getting!

The first impression of the cafe is : cute! Smartly designed and best use of the space available. The interior is graceful and frames are eye catchy. Although the dark red walls are not of much an appeal, but I would As for the food, it's decent enough. A bit overpriced for some dishes,but overall, it's a fair deal. I ordered , a chicken ceaser burger , chicken with garlic bread along with a cold coffee. The coffee was a let down.I won't order it again. As for the other two items, they were the right blend of spices, the chicken was soft and fresh, the over all presentation decent enough. A must visit place!

Cozy, Warm and elegant cafe in the heart of Chandigarh. Relish your taste buds with the delectably delicious food of this cafe, Pizzas and pastas are amazing. Best time to visit would be for breakfast as rest of the day this cafe is almost packed. Polite and super attentive servers. 10/10
