Relais Des Causses - Chanac

For some reason, Relais des Causses is only listed as a restaurant on Tripadvisor. I used it mainly as a hotel. Look, there 's nothing ``Very Good ' ' about this place, but it was everything I was asking for. I was driving south and needed to stop for the night. I pulled into Chanac and the first hotel I found was full so I came here. They had a room. It was a bit shabby, sort of Ikea pre-Ikea style, but perfectly clean and comfortable. Dinner was nothing special but honest and inexpensive. I slept very well. The little bar at the hotel seems to be where the locals hang out at night. It 's the sort of small independent hotel that 's becoming rarer and rarer in France As I said, there 's nothing special about this place but it made for a friendly budget place to stop for the night. And the village is attractive.
