Table service is provided here and the waitresses were really friendly and the food came out quickly. After a morning skiing we were proper hungry! So it had to be pizza, burgers, tartiflette and the obligatory Vin Chaud or beer! Lovely! So nice that some of us preferred an afternoon nap rather than carry on skiing! Prices vary from restaurant to restaurant and this was a little more than others but worth it for the personal service (rather than having to queue and pay before you eat).
We went there to taste the famous raclette and we were very pleasantly surprised. The ambience is great, jazz music, the restaurant vintage mountain style. Meal was very generous and tasty. Nice wine for reasonable price. Good service. We will come back definitely
Since the last time we were in Chamrousse, this restaurant has been extended and now caters for more customers, with slightly different menus for morning, lunch and dinner. On this trip, we visited for twice each for lunch and dinner, sampling pizza, crepes, fondu, burgers and tartiflette between us. The staff are very friendly and helpful demonstrated even more when we returned for lunch and were recognised for dining there the night before and told they'd accidentally over charged us for dinner, so our lunch time crepes were on the house. Good service goes a long way (something Le P'Tit Sale at Recoin could learn from), so we booked to return for dinner on our last night. Food and service as excellent as before. Highly recommended.
We visited this restaurant twice for lunch and once for an evening meal during our week In Chamrousse. It was by far the busiest lunchtime restaurant (so come early if you want a table! with staff who worked hard, fast and always polite, the food was wonderful tasty, generous portions. The evening meal was also great, highly recommend, we will definitely visit again.
