San Maru - Champaign

I have tried most of the Korean restaurants in champaignurbana, and while there are some possibilities in the city, san maru is simply my favorite. at this point I have.

I have heard good things about this place from my friends, so my friend and I decided to try it myself! the service here is amazing. that was it.

We moved out a few years ago from Champaign/Urbana (savoy), but all couple months we find ourselves on the look for an excuse to return and san maru is a must.

Our first time in a strictly Korean event restaurant... And it was wonderful and the food was excellent!!! The staff was great and the (owner/manager?? was excited to talk about the menu items and how they were prepared... She even suggested a dessert (a kind of milk/water block shaved ice... that resembles NOTE, as we have ever before, very ornate, lit tasting, with fresh fruit and various colored sauces... Definitely a place to bring family and friends, and we will come again many times!!

Best Korean restaurant in town! We loved all the food and the staff was very friendly. Please try the ice tea (SooJungGwa) and the Red Bean Bingsu
