I’ve been coming here since 2014 for its well-prepared Chinese BBQs like roast/pipa duck, crispy pork, BBQ pork, soy sauce chicken, and squid. The BBQs were appropriately cut and marinated properly. The fat to lean ratio has always been good, earning a solid 4.5/5 rating imo. However, recent changes in ownership have led to a decline in quality. The crispy pork lacks flavor and is excessively fatty, while the barbecue pork no longer has its former honey like consistency and depth of flavor, resembling something you get in a standard Chinese takeout restaurant, duck has become fattier, less fresh and the meat is now bland/chewy. Some corners are being cut in the preparation, I hope the owner would maintain high standards for the sake of your loyal customers.
I have visited this place since the early 90's! Always great.
I don’t like leaving negative reviews for Asian places but this place is a ripoff. $14.50 for a plate of rice and two kinds of bbq. All I got was the fat with skin on it when I ordered roast pork. The amount of meat they give you is so little and the rice is too much. I’ll take my business to Ming’s bbq over this.
Best place to have roasted duck. Last time they had cuttlefish.
