Despite multiple employees making eye contact with me, no one came to take my order. After waiting for several minutes, I decided to place my order on the screens. When my food finally arrived, it was lukewarm, and the fries tasted as if they had been sitting out for a while. Unfortunately, this seems to be the standard at McDonald's these days.
I ordered oatmeal, but they forgot to include the packet of raisins and apples. I went back inside and mentioned to the staff that I didn’t receive it with my oatmeal. She then handed me a Hello Kitty packet of apple slices.
The service was quick, but I’m not sure why I had to step aside for a minute to let them take out my food. There was no one behind me, so it felt unnecessary.
This McDonald's is probably one of the busiest I've ever seen, likely because it's the only one for nearly 100 miles. The new family bundles tend to lead to large orders through the drive-thru, but the managers are always quick to apologize for any delays and make sure to get the food out as fast as they can. Having worked in fast food myself, I’ve never witnessed a team work so hard while still providing excellent customer service and serving hot, fresh food.
On August 1st, I attempted to place an order during breakfast, but the shift manager refused to take my order correctly. Eventually, I decided to leave without ordering.
