Friggitoria Da Ciro - CESENATICO

Cesenatico is considered one of the gems' on the upper East coast of Italy and very much in fashion: the porto canale is home to many restaurants that feature elaborate plates and is attended by fancy people. Is Cesenatico just this? Definitely not: Da Ciro...is a happy medium between fresh and generous plates and a price you do not have to have a mortgage to pay for your meal. Relaxed, familiar atmosphere, good service and a wide choice of plates allow you to spend an evening with friends enjoying being out. The frittura' is highly recommended as it is not greasy, while you can get yourself a bottle of wine for a reasonable price.

That's a great idea. If you have good food, you can serve it in a nice restaurant, but you can also offer it in a convenient take-out. Most of the time we have some fresh first quality fritto misto and then we go to the beach. This time we sat in the restaurant and we had a treat. The risotto, just for two, was just superb, al dente and rich in seafood. The typical Saraghina with piadina was also very good and fresh. Wine selection is ok but good enough. The price is honest for a fish restaurant. A place to go and return.
