Room was spacious, with a walk in closet, big modern bathroom with a shower (no bathtub). Nights are very quite. The restaurant has a hight ceiling. In the center of the room is a open wood fireplace which can be seen from all sides due to the glass. The table for 2 people are around this fireplace. Chandeliers from the ceiling. A good mix of big tables (for families) and for couples. The food was very tasty. We had the spaghetti frutti di mare as first course and as main course risotto and the lamb. Both was very tasty and perfectly prepared. Including wine and water we paid 70 Euros. The waiters were very professional, kind, humorous and helpful. The food and service were excellent. The restaurant can be romantic place when no bigger group of Italians is there because they did not wanted the light to have dimmed a bit. Our hotel room (suite) was clean, functional and a good size. We can recommend this hotel and restaurant.
Elegant, clean and friendly. Was renovated a few years ago at a very high standard. quiet and beatiful area. We highly recommend. Also a fair price
We were taken here by family just 20 minutes outside of Verona in a magnificent hill region above the heat of Verona. This restaurant has an extraordinary chef and service you might expect from a top restaurant. The appetizer was their Gran piatto of four different seafoods: 3 grilled shrimp, capesante (scallop), fresh salmon, and grilled octopus. Fabulous! We then had maccheroncini with clams and mussels in a red sauce, which was perfection. We also shared an innovative potato and beet gnocchi in celery cream and baby calamari. The dessert was also really special. Plus Prosecco! We were all quite shocked to have such good service and such good food in a hotel/restaurant in a hill town above Verona. We also toured the hotel. If you want a peaceful stay in a lovely town, choose to stay here and eat here, and then travel out to see Verona, Venice, Padua, Mantova, etc. Cool in the summer and reasonably priced. A real find!!
