Tofu Village - Cerritos

The restaurant itself is moderately sized and offers ice cream for takeout customers as well as for dine-in guests. However, I'm unsure if they still provide ice cream since the machine was out of order during my mother's last two visits. The owner is quite pleasant, creating a welcoming atmosphere that combines both Korean hospitality and a broader friendliness. This is somewhat rare among Korean businesses in Cerritos, where service often falls short. I can only mention a few establishments that are both friendly to Koreans and non-Koreans alike. While the owner and the special chef are highlights of this place, the same cannot be said for the waitstaff. My mother has noticed that the servers do not provide enough side dishes that typically accompany a soon tofu order. It's worth noting that Korean cuisine, in general, isn't very vegetarian-friendly, so if you're not a strict vegetarian, you should definitely give the soon tofu here a try. The restaurant is located near New Beijing Wok and Carrows, and there's usually parking available. Just to clarify, I have not dined in but have only ordered their soon tofu for takeout. Rating: I would have given it 4 stars if it weren't for the insufficient servings of side dishes.
