Claws - Cerritos

Claws is a wonderful, cozy spot to enjoy peel-and-eat Cajun shrimp and seafood. We usually go to Bucket Crabs and Crawfish and Nine Seafood in the area, but this place holds its own against them. The flavors are spot on, and the service is both quick and friendly. We particularly enjoyed the set menu options that feature 3, 4, or 5 pounds of seafood of your choice, along with some excellent appetizers. The plaza also hosts 85 Degrees and Gen, so parking can be a bit tricky on busy days. There is additional parking on the sides, so be prepared for a bit of a walk if you can't find a nearby spot. We will definitely be returning!

The food here is consistently excellent! Delicious! We enjoyed peeled shrimp with corn and potatoes in a lemon and butter sauce. We also had calamari and a green salad, which was one of the best salads I've ever tasted!

On December 21, 2022, I stopped by Claws in Cerritos with two friends for some delicious seafood. We ordered two catfish dinners, a bag filled with corn, potatoes, sausage, shrimp, and snow crabs, and also tried the fried shrimp and clam chowder. Everything was absolutely delicious and exceeded our expectations—fresh, hearty, and simply fantastic. The staff was friendly, organized, and efficient, making sure everyone had a great dining experience. I can’t forget to mention the bartender; he was incredible, especially with the Rams parade wrapping up and the Lakers game on. I truly enjoyed the excellent food, great company, and the fun atmosphere at Claws in Cerritos!

During my vacation in California, my cousin took me to a restaurant called Claws. I really enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere there.

This is my favorite place for crawfish. Although I'm not a huge fan of crawfish, I typically order shrimp when I visit.
