The staff were so welcoming and friendly that we decided to have our meal there. Our table was cleared of any empty bottles or glasses immediately. The food arrived in good time. We had the lamb rogan josh and chicken korma with cheese naan. All the food was delicious. We usually don't finish a meal but we just could not stop. The staff tried to persuade us to have some desert but we just could not squeeze in another thing. We were sent on our way by the friendly staff and we were glad we decided to pop in. We will be back...soon.
I visited the new shop in Midstream Ridge and bought Take Away. Food was really good and ambience on the little Square is nice. They got my order wrong but quickly fixed it. Nice Indian Cuisine and I will visit again. they are not licensed yet so take your own wine.
This place is fairly new and hubby has been saying for a while now we should try them out. Since Friday is take-out night,we decided to try them out this weekend.<br/ <br/ Situated in the middle of Grey owl shopping centre, as I entered the shop I was greeted warmly by two men and who were very helpful explaining the different Rotis to me.<br/ <br/ I ordered mild lamb curry and my favourite nutty and sweet dish, chicken khorma. Each served with rice, but I ordered three Rotis: butter Naan, stuffed aloo paratha and romali roti.<br/ <br/ The food was completed within 15minutes and I was served the food in a box with their menu, good advertising here. However, when I got home, I was very disappointed at how oily the food was.So oily that it leaked out into the box and on the menu.<br/ <br/ The Naan Rotis were not what I am use to, as the Naan is usually thick and the other rotis not as oily. I also could not taste the cashew in the khorma and it wasn't as sweet as I like with very dry chicken pieces inside. The lamb curry was better, the meat tender with a tomatoe taste.<br/ <br/ The food is ok, just not 100% fitting my preference and the restaurants sitting area looks neat and well decorated with friendly staff.
Great curry particularly the butter chicken, chicken Tikka masala and korma. Lamb in the same flavours also excellent. Really good value especially the Tuesday half price chicken sit down specials.
Good service, delicious food zero corking fee thus excellent wine too. Will definitely recommend it to anyone. Will definitely be back for more delicious curry and garlic cheese naan
