My party and I were seated right away. They do have a waitlist on Yelp so you can reserve a place in line when they are busy. The restaurant is not super big, but it is nice inside. Their AYCE menu is 30$ per person. The meats here tasted amazing!! Seriously this is the first Kbbq around the area that has amazing quality meat. My party tried the spicy chicken, marinated chicken, galbi, bulgogi, brisket and shrimp. The chicken here tasted amazing! I usually find chicken at Kbbq restaurants dry and not flavorful. But at Meat project the chicken was so good!! The galbi and bulgogi were my favorite for sure. I can't stress enough how good their meat was. The quality and flavor was amazing. The shrimp was not super great, but everything else was delicious. Their sauces tasted delicious too with the meat. They have side dishes as well. We only tried the potato salad, kimchi, rice, bean sprouts and some type of coleslaw. Everything tasted great. Since it wasn't so busy the service was good as well. I highly recommend trying this place out! I can't wait to be back
Each meat was good. Good flavor and consistently tender. The banchan were also good, in particular the corn cheese and soybean soup. The portions for the banchan are small so if possible, order multiple of each for the ones that aren't already set on the table for your group. Whoever's playlist it is, the Kpop is great but with the big sadboi hours music, my question is: who hurt you? You good bruh? Also, the IU soju posters. For lovers of meat and IU in the DMV, it's paradise. 5/5 for IU alone.
Very good! Good service and good food. Recommend the miso pork belly, spicy pork bulgogi and the Galbi short rib with the cheese corn side. All yummy. I like the size of the meat portions here compared to other places I've tried. Miso pork belly was our favorite. Pass on the thin-sliced pork belly, not much taste and they gave a lot of it.. so kind of sucked that we didn't eat very much of it. very chewy took me 5ever to swallow it. Everything else was good. Will definitely come back
This is definitely my go to KBBQ right now! IMO they have the best large intestines in the area. Customer service is great. They are very attentive. Quality of meat if good. I alway get beef brisket and large intestines. Sometimes I get pork belly. This meat review is solely based on these 3 items. Side dishes are yummy! Sauces are good but I definitely miss their wasabi sauce. That was a huge hit and I don't know why they decided to discontinue. Dessert. They have melona most of the time or yakult on the way out which is always a plus! It can get really busy especially during dinner service on the weekends and it helps that they offer waitlist on the yelp app.
On May 23, 2022 was my first time and will probably be the last time as well. Me and my friends were there for lunch, we ordered bunches of stuffs most of them tasted quite bad. The gopchang was sour and smelled compare to other Korean Restaurants/BBQ place that served gopchang. Also, I forgot a pair of sunglasses on the table, only LESS than 10 minutes after I realized, I called the restaurant and after a quick hold, they said they didn't see anything?? Service was okay
