El Fresco Mexican Grill - Centreville

After a long day at work, my wife and I decided to stop by for dinner at this restaurant. To our surprise, the food surpassed our expectations. The chicken nachos were amazing, and the fried ice cream was also a hit! We will definitely return if we have the chance.

I have two California Burritos and one order of Sopapillas. Steak was sincerely some of the best I had for a Burrito. I remembered Hibachi style. The only blows were that the Burrito was a third tortilla (can not complain, they were on special $6 per) and the Sopapillas looked better than they tasted (yet scared). Come on!

This is the best Mexican food I have had in Northern Virginia so far. The flavors were excellent.

The portions are ample and perfect for sharing, making it easy to mix and match options even for a party of two. Good, fresh ingredients. Generous portions. Fair prices. Complimentary chips and salsa are a nice touch. Meats were freshly grilled. Chicken was not dry and the shrimp are modest in size but not at all disappointing for this price point. Overall this place is a great value.
