Torch Lake Cafe - Central Lake

I recently visited a restaurant near Traverse City that had a decent amount of vegan options, which can be hard to find in that area. While most restaurants in Central Lake focus on animal products, it was nice to see this one offering vegan choices. The downside is that the vegan options mostly consist of sides like sweet potato fries, mushrooms, brussel sprouts, and a beet salad, which can add up to be quite expensive. It's surprising that such a fancy looking restaurant doesn't offer a more substantial vegan dish on their menu. However, if you're traveling north of Traverse City and need a quick and easy food stop, this place will do the job.

They weren’t open!! Gave me a reservation when they were closed!

Amazing! Food was superb and service to match large group on the porch and everyone absolutely loved it!

Was a great experience. Dasa our server was excellent and the rest of the staff was also great. Food was scrumptious.

Nice selection of food and apps...Wine list is surprisingly drinkable.
