Ramble Inn - Central Dr, Hornchurch

At first glance, the restaurant appears dark and narrow, but looks can be deceiving. Once inside, it’s surprisingly spacious, likely due to the absence of bar stools. I went there with a friend who enjoys Guinness, and he was pleased with his choice. I typically prefer a more traditional bitter, rather than the smooth variety served here. However, the staff were very friendly and recommended the Atlantic, which turned out to be a great alternative—quite refreshing, especially on a warm day. The televisions were playing football matches and horse racing, creating a lively atmosphere. The other patrons were also quite friendly, so we decided to stay for another round.

This pub is quite unusual since it doesn't accept card payments. My wife and I stopped by for a drink before dinner, having noticed the pub several times before. Unfortunately, we had to leave because they only accept cash. This was really disappointing, as I was looking forward to giving this place a chance.

This is the best Irish pub in London. I always feel welcomed when I come here. They serve the best pint of Guinness you'll find outside of Ireland. The staff is incredibly attentive and they remember our orders, which makes every visit enjoyable. We always have a fantastic time!

This restaurant truly hits the spot for nighttime dining! I had a toasted cheese and ham sandwich, and it was exactly what I needed. As for the service, Mel behind the bar was incredibly pleasant and always wore a smile. The drinks were served in clean glasses, and both the toilets and the pub as a whole were spotless. The atmosphere on Sunday night during the Trad Session from 6 to 9 PM was fantastic — the group of musicians and singers was exceptionally talented. Overall, this is definitely a pub worth visiting!
