Sunnyside Sunnyside Too Restaurants

My recent breakfast experience at Sunnyside was excellent. The service, provided by Sharon, was both friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and arrived promptly. The portions were generous and the coffee was especially tasty. I have never been disappointed at Sunnyside and would highly recommend this charming restaurant.

After a busy day of shopping, my wife and I stopped by this pub near our home for a drink. We sat inside and checked out the lunch menu, deciding to get some food. My wife ordered a Tuna baguette, while I got a chicken one. Our food was promptly brought to us by a friendly waitress and it was delicious and hot. We definitely plan on returning to this pub for dinner soon.

The food at this restaurant is outstanding. I recently tried the meatloaf with mushroom gravy, and it was truly amazing.

Sunnyside restaurant has usually been a good place to get almost home cooked food. When we got there we were told the other side was closed because it was only open during mornings for breakfast. There was a line up and we had to wait almost 15 minutes to be seated. Our waitress was prompt and took our orders, then the wait began again. There was still a line up of people coming in and I noticed that there were tables that customers had finished and the staff hadn't cleaned off yet. Our waitress was really good at refilling our drinks and kept telling us our order wouldn't be too long. But we waited almost 45 minutes to get our food which was a breakfast meal. We were contemplating leaving when we were told it would only be a couple of minutes more. The food was good and hot when it finally came. There seemed like a lot of staff just going around with coffee pots and we noticed that when the food started coming everybody waiting for food got their food at the same time.

Seated quickly and initial service good. But once meal was on table just left completely. No offer of additional drinks, no check on food satisfaction. Seemed to be a lot of staff just wandering around but not taking any interest in customers. Just wanted to leave by the time the waitress came back. Food was hot, but despite requesting eggs in omelette were well cooked still came back wet . Food is exactly what you expect in a family style diner. It is what it is , a mid priced, diner. Basic food, basic decor and basic service. The sort of place you would go back to, but not that often.
