I'm from Brooklyn so I know my PIZZA Large cheese pie with breaded eggplant topping.... yummy
There's a special for Wednesday nights. It's a regular pie for 13.99 if you take out. I ordered it and asked for sesame seeds on HALF of it. They charged me almost $18 because of a couple sesame seeds. What a rip off! I'm not cheap but that seems excessive. From now on I'll just get a regular price somewhere else because the price would be the same.
We are so upset about our experience and how we were treated. When unpacking our order we realized two dishes were missing. We called the pizzeria and told them that we didn 't get two items. They put us on hold and someone else picked up and we explained again. The man said well there 's no proof that you didn 't get it what kind of proof am I supposed to provide? The meals were missing. I wouldn 't sit on the phone for 20 minutes and make the rest of the family wait to eat and ruin our night if the food wasn 't missing. What kind of customer service is that? So then the man said ok you can come get a store credit to use next time. Why not apologize to the customer for your mistake and deliver the missing food? I said no I 'd like a refund for the missing items then if you cannot get us the missing food. He yelled YOU ARE A F ING B CH! and hung up the phone. We were so shocked and upset that he spoke to us like that. They ruined a special evening for us and lost a good customer. We will never order from there again for our weekly take out. By the way the pizza last week was so burnt and we let it go and ordered again because we enjoy their food usually. I will gladly give my money to a pizzeria that does not curse at loyal customers from now on.
I ordered pizza, raviolis, mozzarella sticks and garlic knots. The raviolis were semi warm and nothing special, the mozzarella sticks tasted like the frozen ones you get from the grocery store and were not hot, the garlic knots were cold and dry and the pizza was greasy, but at least it was hot! In addition to the mediocre (at best) food, the menu on the website is apparently from the previous owners who happen to have the same name, the same menu, but less expensive prices. So, when you order something and think you're paying one price, you get there and the price is doubled (I would have left, but my son went to pick up the food). I thought I would give this place a try because I usually drive further for good Italian food, but NEVER again.
