We were guests of Cascina Papa Mora as staff for the event Raduno Asti Cuor of Pelo Rescue Bassotti . We were welcomed, many and noisy with our intrusive bass (about a hundred), with patience and great professionalism. Me and my husband with our two dogs arrived Saturday afternoon and we had dinner and overnight there. We immediately felt at home. Adriana and her girls made us know the place and showed the room: our was a triple with a large bathroom and mattress and pillows so comfortable that we slept better than at home! Dinner was a surprise: special, light and tasty dishes. A hearty breakfast with homemade and local products. Lunch for the event from 10 and praise as the dinner of the previous evening. There is also the possibility to buy fruits and vegetables of their land. In short, a mix of professionalism and great hospitality, a place to hand organized perfectly by people who, it is evident, love their work. In the midst of nature, silence and greenery, a paradise also for our four legs. All seasoned by a cuisine not boring but typical of tradition and performed perfectly. Definitely to return!!!! We were also in this hotel, we ate here four dinners. very tasty, especially fresh pasta and dessert. excellent service. they also recommend their barbera wein.
On September 24 I was with family and friends on this farm for the anniversary of my parents. the farm is very nice in its simplicity, well maintained and surrounded by greenery, the service was attentive, the great food. worthy of note the fabulous ravioli of the plino with roasted sauce. we were in 21 years and everyone complimented us on the choice. appropriate price, 30€ for a dinner consisting of 2 appetizers (the tunaed calf was really good,) a first, a second with contour, cake, water, wine, coffee, digestives (made by them.) we had the possibility to organize a menu based on our clothes directly with the cook who explained all the proposals of the kitchen giving us ideas and advice. thank you! super recommended!
Being native to these areas, it is difficult to see this structure, known when it was a farm, then abandoned for years and then reborn as a farm. congratulations to the owners who have turned the place into a fantastic place where you can relax in the middle of nature. I do not forget that I had lunch on the occasion of a family holiday, excellent food, prepared with the utmost care and with a kind and cared service. to be recommended.
