Anvil Pub Grille - Cedarburg

Excellent food. Good service. Menu has a good variety. Good prices. General portion sizes. Resturant is in an original blacksmithery. Authentic. My favourite is the chicken sandwich with heart-baked bread and bacon. Fries are delicious. Burgers are great. Ribbons are fleshy and tasty. I recommend a reservation. Not a big place and very popular. I think they're closed on Tuesday. Only small disappointment was calculated .50 for a small barbeque sauce. In summer sitting on the river and a waterfall is very nice and relaxing. Cedarburg has a winery and shops a few meters away. Many more shops and theatres in the city.

I like the atmosphere of the place, nice and cozy. Great date night place! Food, drinks and service were on point!

Went to the Anvil for a Birthday meal and I greatly enjoyed going there. The building itself is old but incredibly well kept homely in a pleasant way, cozy and very clean! The service was good and very patient especially considering I has to wait for my other company to arrive, no problems there! The food was excellent, from the shepherd's pie I got, to the duck wantons and even the mozzarella sticks, all was fantastic to me. I loved it at the Anvil, give it a go if you're in the area you won't be disappointed! Pictures are of the inside and outside of the building, the decor, the menu, and the food!

Lovely place, food was amazing. Would have got 5 stars, but our waitress was not the nicest or the best. Stuffed blackened chicken breast. Stuffed with a raspberry cream cheese mixture and bacon wrapped with a burban berblonk sauce on top. I'm sure i spelled some words wrong lol

Short rib Shepard's pie has awesome flavor! Great location by the Milwaukee River in the Woolen Mills building. Had lunch on the patio and enjoyed the view of the river!! The Smokey Chimney duck sandwich had good taste, wish it had more duck though. Had chocolate chip cheesecake...OMG, large piece and excellent taste!! Stop in when you are at this awesome town for shopping!!
