Stuffed Cajun Meat Market - Cedar Park

I was disappointed with the Turducken this year; it felt more like a Turen since there was hardly any duck in it. In previous years, there was a clear ring of duck visible in the cross-section, but this time there were only a couple of tiny pieces. The turkey was good and moist, but I was let down overall, especially since we were introducing Turducken to people who had never tried it before.

On December 9, 2022, around 5 PM, I had a wonderful dining experience. The food portions were generous. The boudin balls were quite tasty, but the cheesy boudin balls were absolutely outstanding. The red beans and rice were also good. I ordered the combo of fish and shrimp, which came with fries, hushpuppies, and a roll. Everything was crispy and perfectly seasoned. I highly recommend this place; it was a fantastic meal!

I ordered the red beans and rice with a side of smothered green beans, and I also had a boudin ball. Everything was delicious! The cornbread was a bit dry, but maybe I'm just not accustomed to that particular recipe. I'll definitely try the jalapeño cornbread next time. Updated on 3/3/22: I returned and tried the crawfish étouffée, gumbo, and jalapeño cornbread, and everything was amazing!

I tried their live crawfish for a boil I hosted this weekend, and it was the best batch I've ever purchased. I do crawfish boils regularly, and this was definitely outstanding. They ship it directly from Louisiana the next day. I'm not exaggerating when I say that each crawfish was almost the size of a lobster. They were enormous, and there wasn't a single dead one, even though we cooked them 24 hours after picking them up. It cost just an extra $20 for the select grade, and it was absolutely worth it. The price for a 30 lb sack is very reasonable at $120, and I’m pretty sure there were more than 30 lbs in that bag as well. I won't buy crawfish anywhere else from now on!
