That area is kid friendly as there were several families in that area. I tried the drink Rachel's Greyhound which was pretty tasty. We had the crab cake appetizer, a cup of Ben's gumbo, Shrimp creole and Sheridan shrimp. All were very delicious and not too spicy. They also have an outside patio for when the weather is nice.Parking: Parking was right outside the front door. It seemed there was plenty of parking spaces for the dinner hour.
First visit to this restaurant. It did not disappoint. Breakfast was still being served so I ordered the three pigs omelette. Give it a try if you like meaty omelettes. The restaurant was fairly busy which is a good sign. I'll try this one again when in the area looking for a good meal.Food: 5/5
Staff is very nice and friendly, good customer service. Great food for the price.I had a great first experience, so I decided to return. I ordered their specialty entree meatloaf platter. Very dry and overcooked ended up giving it to my dog. Also the bartender was less than friendly. I won't be returning.Features: Outdoor seating is available
Variable hours. I called ahead to see if they were open. They checked and said 'yes. ' I drove 25 minutes and arrived during their posted hours of business. Walked inside at 8:25pm and told 'we 're closed. ' This was on a Saturday night. So even if you call ahead and it 's Saturday when most places are open until at least 9pm, don 't count on Mouton 's to serve you. Two stars for the shrimp creole I had there a while back.
I love their Gambino's French bread which they have shipped from New Orleans. However, they could be a little more generous with the contents of the muffaletta.Crawfish dip was amazing. The only picture that made it tonight was the chocolate cheesecake. It was delicious!
