Bush's Chicken - Cedar Park

Have you ever driven by this place at lunch or dinner time? Three drive up lanes, lined up with cars and more pulling in by the minute. Bush 's Chicken is my favorite place in Cedar Park to get chicken tenders, biscuits, and gravy. Of course there are other things on the menu like mashed potatoes, green beans, pepper poppers, mac 'n cheese, fried chicken (breast, thigh, wing), cole slaw, corn nuggets and their famous iced tea (sweet or unsweet). They serve individual meals but also family meals. Next time you would like some comfort food, drive over to Bush 's and get some fried chicken and a favorite side with some fresh iced tea.

My car hop server, Karina, was truly exceptional. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks, and she was gracious and patient. She deserves some recognition for her outstanding service! I want to add to this review: it's January 27, 2021, and this was our third visit. We ordered the #7 family pack with tenders and rolls that were oh-so-buttery soft! We also got a family side of okra and pepper poppers. I’m storing them in Ziploc bags in the freezer, so whenever my grandchildren come over, I can just pop the tenders, fried okra, and rolls in the toaster oven, and they’ll be ready in just a few minutes! The food is delicious and at a very reasonable price! Come on, everyone, stop by and try this amazing chicken! Our car hop this time was an incredible woman named Leidy!

This place is fantastic! The crust is a perfectly crispy, golden-white delight made from flour. The chicken is flavorful and appears to be hand-battered. The rolls are absolutely delicious. The green beans were served simply, and the mashed potatoes were decent as well. The apple pie and brownie are definitely worth trying!

Even during the busy nighttime rush, the car hops do an excellent job of getting customers served quickly. The food is consistently fresh and tasty.
