I am now a fan of Venezuelan cuisine. Nice family ownership here. We received some great suggestions as this was our first time in. The arepas are amazing and packed with flavor. The sweet plantains are wonderful to add to anything and everything. Prices are very reasonable and you still get enough to fill you up. This place is a keeper and I want to try their breakfast next. If things aren't spicy enough then ask for the special hot sauce.
We stopped by because another local restaurant was closed. The restauranteur suggested we try the sampler plate. He said it would be enough for two. Yum Yum Yum. It had Tequeños (like a fried cheese stick), tacos, sweet plantains (Yum), mini cheese empanadas (also Yum). But, the BEST were the mini arepas. Didn't matter. The beef, the chicken and the black beans are ALL GOOD. Will definitely be having those for the next Verde game.Parking: Parked right in front of the restaurant.
What an amazing place! We ended up here by accident because another restaurant was closed, and I’m so glad that we did. We will be for sure returning. The Pabellon plate was delicious. Such good flavors. The chocolate cake was so good that we couldn’t leave a bite behind.
It was my wife’s and my first time eating at Aleida’s. We both had Arepas, mine shredded beef, hers grilled chicken. Both were very flavorful and stuffed full with meat and ingredients. You definitely won’t leave hungry. And make sure you try Aleida’s cake, to top things off with some rich chocolaty goodness.
