Hunan Wok - Cedar Knolls

While there have been some changes since COVID, I understand that it's all part of running a business and that prices have gone up like everywhere else. Despite that, this place remains my favorite Chinese restaurant. I'm hesitant to try other options.

I ordered takeout for the third time tonight, so I feel it's time to share my thoughts. The General Tso's chicken combo with white rice was fantastic. The chicken was crispy, and the sauce had great flavor. The wonton soup was also very good; it had a hint of ginger that added a nice touch. I should mention that I've tried their steamed dumplings before, and they were excellent—meaty and full of flavor. The white rice was just right, with a pleasantly sticky texture, which I prefer. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very polite, and my delivery arrived quickly. I’ve tried other places in the area, but none are as consistently good or fairly priced as this one. Overall, I consider this place a winner!

The food was incredible! It was the best Chinese cuisine I've had in years. My boyfriend and I ordered General Tao's chicken with vegetable fried rice and fried chicken with chicken fried rice. We will definitely be returning!

Their roasted port and broccoli is fine. Sweet and sour chicken also good. Egg rolls not so good. Best in the area for Chinese food.

The reviews had me curious but phew it was amazing! The service is outstanding, they’re so kind but most importantly the food was fresh and portion sizes were huge!
