Saltgrass Steak House - Cedar Hill

Eating was great, server orion really did a great job. was friendly and very attentive. had a great dinner, chicken laredo, potato soup, cesar salat. and of course the legendary carrot cake!

Looking forward to meeting with friends to celebrate a birthday, and enjoying a meal out. I ordered Chicken Fried Chicken and salad. Salad was great along with loaf of bread. First bite of chicken tasted very spicy/hot. Flagged down waitress saying I could not eat it as it was too spicy. She talked to the kitchen staff. I was then told they dipped it in the wrong coating. I was offered another try, to which I said ok. Of course my friends were eating while I waited on my reordered entree. It finally arrived. The waitress asked me to cut into it. Turns out it was a Chicken Fried Steak, not chicken. I told her to just forget a 3rd try. You would have thought I would have been given a gift card or a credit for my drink. But alas, only got an I'm sorry Will not be going back!!

I had a bad experience at the one in mesquite. i haven't been back in years. went to the one in Cedar Hill. Jay was our server. He was very friendly and professional. I would definitely go back to the cedar hill location. great service and atmosphere.

Very pleased with thus location of Saltgrass. The service was prompt and friendly; the facilities were clean and comfortable. Our food was served quickly, had a very nice presentation, and was cooked to order. Based on our visit to this location, we would be happy to visit other locations. For 5 people w/o alcohol $140.

Had a wonderful meal here. Melanie was our server. She was fantastic. Melanie was thoughtful and went over and above on several occasions. Genuine smile and knowledgeable with the menu and drinks. She recommnded and offered a small tasting of a local bourbon (Balcones), which cemented my drink for the evening. I am gluten free and saltgrass has a GF menu. She brought me a nicely toasted gluten free bun. I did not even know this was an option so it was a rare and welcome GF surprise, one I haven't had in years. I ordered the bone in pork chops and they came out juicy, cooked and seasoned perfectly. My salad was fresh. I felt the price was very reasonable for my delicious, fresh, gluten free meal and wonderful service.
