I had the vegetarian kaldereta, that is a local recipy and was delicious. As starter the spinach with mango is very good also. Easy to reach and find. Not sure if they deliver.
The veggie meat adobo is amazing!! Sooo soft and the flavors are great!! Best thing I’ve eat in The Philippines so far!
We visited here after having an awful experience elsewhere and were really hungry after we had walked around the city. The food was okay but wasn’t amazing. It was good to have some vegan options in the city whilst we were there for one night. I wouldn’t rush back.
This is a fairly popular Persian restaurant with a vegetarian menu, including several dishes explicitly labeled as vegan. I ordered mock meat biryani and samosas. Food tasted fine, albeit a bit salty and obviously lacking onion (I assume due to the shortage when I visited). Biryani portion was huge. Vegan samosas were a little cold in the middle, and came with a honey-based sauce. Cash only.
Super thankful for this place, has it’s own menu which claims to be plant based BUT it contains a lot of egg and yoghurt, so a lot of things are indeed veggie, not vegan. The Lassis aren’t vegan, neither are some of the middle eastern dishes which contain yoghurt, so be sure to ask. The food was fantastic though, the veggie meat Biryani was awesome and a large portion, as were the curries, we tried multiple! The spinach and chickpea was my favourite, but the one with tofu was also delicious! It’s a little more on the pricey side, but it was delicious! Highly recommend.
