Pepper Lunch - Cebu City

My fave would be the jumbo beef pepper rice additional bean sprouts corn on the side for P40. My only issue is that every time i eat there the aircon doesn't work at all.

It was an OK experience depending on what you will be having. If you will have garlic pepper beef, it has very little beef. I will attest that 90% of the dish is rice and veggies. If, on the other hand, you will get their beef teriyaki, it's a good dish and remarkably delicious, according to my best friend. The ambiance is noisy, and the tables need cleaning.

Although this restaurant originated in Japan and opened its doors in 1994, it was a new concept for me, and whether it’s considered novel or not, it provided a delightful experience. I visited with my family, and we really enjoyed their hot sizzling platters. I chose the salmon with healthy eating in mind, and I was pleased with the freshness of both the fish and the vegetables, which included corn and bean sprouts. The meal was accompanied by a selection of mild and spicy sauces that enhanced the already delicious dishes. While I still tend to order sashimi when dining at a Japanese restaurant, I can confidently say that the Pepper Lunch sizzling platters surpass the typical bento boxes. I have to commend the creator of this restaurant; they are truly a genius.

Affordable, quick, and delicious! I highly recommend the rice and beef with brown sauce and cheese.

The Japanese food here is excellent, and the portions are generous. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the ingredients and beef used. My only issue is that the tables are quite close together, which can be a bit uncomfortable.
