Laguna Garden Cafe - Cebu City

One of the best restaurants in cebu to my opinion. they are not disappointed! filipino classic plus bisaya specialties and some more. a must stop for me.

This is a nice place for good food. The loc is perfect if you want to shop, or eat after shopping. The portions are good, and taste wise are very Filipino. Staff are really nice. Ambiance is great. Would have given 5 star if there wasnt a fly trying to get a taste of our food. Will def be coming back.

There was a weird odor when we asked for a reservation at noon. At dinner, it was still there. Our pancit bihon was served when we were done with dinner. Those are just two negatives though. All things considered. It was a pretty solid dining experience. I'd go back.

Drop by for lunch today and proceed to ordered Laing (Pinangat with coconut milk, p200) and Seafood Platter (p750). The Laing creamy and buttery texture would have pair nicely with hot steam rice but the rice has gotten cold from 25 minutes wait. Finally the Seafood Platter with full ensemble arrived; steamed okras and eggplants, perfectly seasoned shrimps, grilled stuffed squid soft enough to be enjoyed, but the overcooked garlic clamps have shriveled up and full of gritty sand, the staled and overcooked crabs appear to be reheated from frozen state were a big disappointment. It’s hard pressed to convince us to come back again given less than stellar dining experience.

The food was okay. The service was really bad! Just like the others who noticed, unless staff are being waived, they will not be able to get to you. Food also took at least 30 minutes before being served cold. Tsk Tsk. Will not recommend.
