Dentro de su categoría está bien, una ubicación perfecta. Volvería sin duda. Rooms: 4 Service: 4 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view
We were guests at the hotel and decided to have dinner at the restaurant on our first night as well as breakfast on 2 mornings, as we had read a good review in one of the leading guidebooks. The restaurant is located on the ground-floor, but looked a little bland, so we took all of our meals on the adjacent terrace which overlooks the bustling and traffic free (from around noon) central Plaza de la Corredera. Special mention should be made of the hard-working waiter, who appeared for all 3 meals and was good-humoured despite his workload, which had no doubt increased due to the COVID regulations and which both the Hotel and Restaurant strictly observed. Breakfast was only a small supplement on the room price and is well worth the cost. We took our on the terrace both morning and chose tostadas with a choice of tomato, ham, pate, etc, coffee and orange juice. A buffet selection was not available due to the health regulations. At dinner, we shared an excellent and generous revuelto of smoked salmon, followed by shoulder of suckling lamb (euros 16.50) and venison in rosemary (Euros 18). Both were very flavoursome and to be recommended, although the vegetable accompaniment was minimal. We then decided on less traditionally Spanish desserts and our sweet tooths were satisfied by a profiteroles and chocolate brownie. There was a short, but well-selected, carta de vinos of Spanish wines, from which we can recommend the Traslascuestas tinto at only Euros 15. Excellent value! The entire meal, including water, coffee, wine and fino before and orujo after dinner was only Eur. 87.60 (ex tip) and we would definitely recommend this restaurant when visiting Cazorla.
We had a menu del dia as well as several tapas over two nights, all were excellent. The little hamburgers were my favourite. We tried other bars in the square but preferred the hotel
The place is just great. You can feel a touch of luxury but prices are not exaggerated at all. You are sitting slightly elevated over the street and a small square. Nice for a lazy afternoon. The service is fast and polite.
