As part of the campsite there is a trampoline next to the restaurant area, and I would guess is a perfect place to let your smaller children play around and amuse themselves a bit while you relax with a glass of wine while waiting for your food. The restaurant was busy but luckily there was space for us without a reservation. I would guess the clientele were a mix of people from the campsite, and visitors, like us, staying locally. The seating is partly al fresco, and partly under a permanent awning, like a kind of marquee affair. When we visited there was an amazing jazz band of young French men (boys! playing accomplished and sophisticated jazz, seemingly beyond their years. Staff were welcoming and thoroughly pleasant, and thankfully good at speaking English, although we tried our best French. We ate simple but tasty dishes of Rougail Saucisse (a flavoursome sausage and tomato casserole dish and Cari Poulet (a mildly spiced chicken casserole dish both apparently recipes from Reunion Island, and served with rice and salad. My daughter had a pavé of beef and fries, with pepper sauce, which she adored. Creme brûlée for dessert was delicious. Main dishes were between approximately 12 and 16 euros. A really lovely relaxed atmosphere, with friendly service, and the added bonus of live music. We thoroughly enjoyed it here and will certainly be back, for a good honest meal and the laid back vibe.
We are at the resturant during our stay at Camping De La Bonnette. It bring out of season, we were given a freshly cooked meal of fresh tuna, vegetables and chips. All of which was very nicely cooked.m The site/resturant owner, Hans, made us feel very welcome
Sarah is back in town and now cooking at the campsite. Her food is always good. Not sure about the prices, though. Drinks very overpriced. Not great value for money.
We were on holiday in parisot, the restaurant of this campsite has been recommended, a good surprise! very nice reception, Creole à la carte kitchen. a good time with family
Another super vacation at camping de la boned in caylus. Long nights stay wetting at the restaurant on campsite where hot dishes are served. Mostly the special theme nights are in the mood with us and then especially Tuesday night, as Mari-Jo's girlfriend of hans, specially puts hot on the table. Camp's nice and quiet. Hans, the owner, is always there for you when you want to know if you need anything. We're just missing and all, the sheep's dosage of hans. In the surroundings, you can walk and bike, we'll definitely come back!
