The patisserie side of this business is excellent however the same cannot be said for our meals. Croque monsieur, essentially a posh toasted ham and cheese sandwich was made with very ordinary ham and commercial cheese with mayonnaise. The bread was hardly warm let alone coloured and soggy. It was served with a mountain of nicely roasted potatoes and side salad. The smashed avo was plentiful but had chunks of raw red onion throughout, again. Not the most pleasant of dishes. I have been to the cafe in Floreat which seems to take much more pride in the food they serve.
Decent breakfast with outdoor seating next to the children’s playground. Some Australian ibis visiting the area to pick up leftover foods, adding to the local touch. Very good macarons.
The food is amazing .. delicious coffee.. dog friendly.. What could be an amazing play area for kids is ruined by the large number of bull ants which bit us twice and unfortunately are located in at least 5 locations throughout play area and outside tables. I would strongly recommend the owner spend a couple of hundred dollars to ensure patron and children safety and comfort!
We really enjoyed this place. Worth the visit. Can get very busy but we were there early, as suggested by trip advisor reviews. Cakes looked amazing. We had macarons
