Had the Raspberry Cheesecake, but it was very icey.....almost as if it had melted and been refrozen. It might just have been a bad batch, so will return on the future to try again.
I love the he smell of waffle cones being made, and that's the first thing you'll notice when walking into the city creamery. But you won't receive a greeting from the three employees standing around. My experience was very awkward here. One girl making waffle cones just had a military thousand yard stare going on, the guy was there, but he wasn't, and the other girl was ready to go home.I ordered my sundae and was excited since the ice cream is made in house, you can see the ice cream being made next to the cashier which is pretty cool. But the vanilla was, well, kind of vanilla. It was nothing special. The girl did give me a lot of fudge which is nice. It took my hot fudge Sunday to the next level. I really just didn't appreciate the service and not so welcoming environment.
Hand made ,real old fashioned, good tasting, plenty of sugar, cholesterol and the bad things that make real home made ice cream one of the greatest pleasures of mankind. Plenty of good flavors run by nice people. Don't miss this place. Price? Who cares, this is really good stuff. I'll be back!
I got the “Cowboy Coffee” flavor on a waffle cone. The waffle cone was warm and delicious. The ice cream was also good, it had real coffee grounds in it, however it was very “icy” and you could feel the ice in your mouth. Nothing too remarkable.
I wasn't impressed with the ice cream. With a name like The Creamery you would think it wouldn't be so icy. The flavor was lacking. The cone was fresh. $5 a scoop is nuts.
