Locanda Centrale - CAVAION VERONESE

You know, sometimes you go to a restaurant and everything just goes perfect like you imagined it. Well this is the place, excellent food, and I mean EXCELLENT!!! We had the tagliatelle tartufo, spaghetti scalpi and a ragoût !!! Dessert was a homemade chocolate cake with pistachios ice cream, it was just a dream!!!! We absolutely do recommend this place. The staff is very patient and welcoming. We'll be back very soon!!! Thank you very much for this first very good impression.

Excellence in a small town. Cavaion is the kind of place that you tend to go *past*, in this case, because you 're on the way up the mountain, or over the mountain, or heading to valpolicella, or some such. But, if you happen to stop here, do go to this place it 's worth it. The food is, of course, excellent (as with most places in the countryside , with the menu redolent of local (bigoli, pesce di lago, and whatnot . That said, ask the staff what to get, and go with their judgement you won 't be disappointed! And yes, the wine list is just about as excellent ;

We as a family go there every year (we are from Germany and we love it. Fantastic food, German speaking staff and a nice view and Ambiente. Definitely will go there the next years again ;

The food was good, the service by the older waiter was terrible. He was quite rude to us and spoiled the atmosphere of the place.
