Le Regent - Cauterets

The waiter was so patronising. OK our French may not be brilliant but we did make an attempt Food was over priced and the wine list completely over the top Avoid

I was surprised to find this was TripAdvisor's 3rd-highest rated place in Cauterets after thoroughly enjoying our meal at La Grande Fache, which was also very highly rated. While the interior of the restaurant was very clean and modern, and the menu seemed promising, we found that the food was mediocre at best. And high-priced. The staff were friendly and professional, but that did not compensate for the thoroughly underwhelming food we had....

We dined in the Le Regent by accident having been rejected in Sacca. Food is by far better than in L 'Abri which has been described as #1 and where we dined day before. Food is unexpectedly exquisite, service is friendly and very professional. Great place.

Boss unable to put a syrup in a beer.

Many people, but a great capacity to welcome, the service follows and it is top to have such infrastructure at the foot of the tracks. The large terrace gives directly to the slopes and the view is up. Perfect for a little beer after a ski day
