The pigeon breast and foie gras was very nice, although very rich, while the ravioli and lobster entree was just perfect. The dessert option included a Pablova (pavlova) but was not really a pav as we kiwis know and love it, but a meringue filled with cream. However don't let that put you off as it was exquisite with fresh season fruits. The meal of the night was my wife's seven hour cooked beef, and choux pastry, apple, cinnamon and praline dessert. We dined as a couple for Euro120 including a share in a bottle of wine.
We eat here three times during our stay in Menerbes; each time, the food was sublime. The lemon sole was cooked to perfection and the Rum Babas are divine! I cannot rate this restaurant highly enough. Definitely the best in Menerbes in our opinion. You need to book to get a terrace table.
We recently ate here and had an amazing meal but be aware... good food, exceptional food does cost a little more but its worth it. We ate in the indoor area to keep out the cold but in summer I can imagine the outdoor area would be amazing. this is a restaurant that I feel will never disappoint if they keep the quality of the food and the service the same. I would come back.
We came here for dinner on the last night of our holiday. The village is very picturesque and we sat outside on the opposite side of the road from the restaurant which was lovely and quiet. The service was very friendly and the food was stunning. We all agreed we would recommend the restaurant to anyone visiting the area. The only slight downside was the cost in particular the local wine.
