I go to Bananas every time I am in Cattolica. These are the best ice creams in the world. The people who own the ice cream parlour are so welcoming and the service is fantastic. The ice creams are all made fresh on the premises from the best quality, seasonal products. They also only use natural products and do various ice creams for people with allergies. If only every place was as dedicated to supplying the best products like these owners are. I think I am in love with it.

In this Gelateria I found the ice cream done as when I was a kid (I am 50 now . The ice cream is hand made, only with genuine fresh fruit and other natural and fresh ingredients. And it is really intended as FRESH, meaning you will not find strawberry taste in July or August since they are out of season. Meaning the figs are from the grandfather tree.....meaning the fruit is provided daily from a local fruit shop..... This ice cream is fresh, is light, is with low sugar, is cold and melts fast, it 's just good and healty! Not like all those creamy and sweet ice creams, that are now popular in most of the places. They also experiment a little, so you will find some strange choices to give a try : like a ice cream with ginger, or with orange and beetroot as examples. The price is fair, and they provide also the bimbo portion, for 1.50 euro. The owner is very friendly too. They also do Crepes, which I did not try.
