We dropped in as we walked past and ordered two Aperol spritzes and were very pleasantly surprised when the waitress also brought out bowls of chips and peanuts, a small plate of sandwich quarters and a large plate of hot hors d'oevres which she explained were complimentary. The drinks and snacks were all excellent and it was lovely sitting in a quiet patio area that was not right on the road. We wereeven more surprsied when the bill only came to €10 for all this. They also had one of the best looking gelato selections we have seen and lots of great looking pastries. Great place and strongly recommended.

Went to the bar for an espresdi and croissant. love the stmosphere. eent there do many times ehen i eas a kid. same great wservice, warm conversation and a real italian espresso. simply love it

They have many unique flavors of gelato from which to choose. It was hard to make a decision. Server let us preview several to help with our decision.

I have been a regular client at Bar centrale many years since. I go there because the quality of their gelato is very, very high. The also have a lot of fresh, hand made slushes: the one I love the most is that made out of fresh, wood strawberries fro our mountais. My favourite gelato is indeed organig yogurt, as well as salted pistachio nuts. If you are not a fan og gelato, slushes and the like, you may go there and enjoy yourself with the home 'aperitivo ', that 's a drink served with several snask, canapés, little pizzas, mini sandwiches, olives, a selection of salami, ham and cheese etc. The comparison between price and quality is very high. The location is not very big, but comfortable and nice. They have some outdoor tables as well as a little windowed tea room, that 's heated in Winter and air-conditioned in the Summer. The furniture is fancy and well kept, staff is nice and helpful.

We just ordered two take away gelatos but they were both amazing!! Cookies flavour and hazelnut both great!! 2x Small take away gelato were less than €4 and was more than enough after a meal out, great ice cream, limited english but wasnt an issue at all!
