Based on previous information, we have learned that the fried artichokes do not contain eggs or milk. if you want them to keep vegan they just the cheese and diving sauce. if they are looking for a funny unique vegan snack, they have found it. the only bottom is the artichoke hearts are hidden in the fried teig. if they are a forward planner, their favorite vegan diving sauce would add to the experience. all in all a fun unique experience found nowhere else I know.
I was born in cali before I moved to seattle and grew up, I still spent my summer back in the salinas / castroville area. in my family we would always get our deep fried artichoke hearts from the huge artichoke market, it is a piece of my childhood! during this trip to cali, this time as a vegan, I had my usual demand for fat, fried, artichoke-y goodness. but unfortunately the huge artichoke (and a few other places around the city I called) does not use-vegane batteries! I didn't give up until I finally found pezzini farmen. an egg test mentioned that they do not use milk in their teig. I called her up and asked a few more questions and found that they are actually vegan! I'm so glad I found her. they roast their artichoke hearts in the small green food truck directly at the side of the stand itself. they taste exactly the same if not better than my childhood artichoke hearts. make sure to get them blown up without the parmesan, and no soaking on the side. take them home and immerse them in a vegan ranch or vegannaise! also within the food stand they sell fresh fruits and vegetables, and on the back they have frozen fried artichokes hearts, so that they can make them in their of anytime they want :d hey, I have not said it was healthy, simply vegan and tasty updated from the previous review on the 01.
The business offers a wide variety of options, and I tried the artichoke hearts cooked in an air fryer.
